Value Congruence and Organizational Commitment: Does Work Happiness Matter?

Purpose: Lack of employee commitment to their organization has been reported as one the numerous challenges faced by Nigerian Civil Service. The study investigated mediating role work happiness on relationship between value congruence and organizational in Federal Public Service Abuja, Nigeria. Method: Data were collected from staff Following random sampling technique, a total 386 responses used for data analysis. analyzed using SmartPLS 3. Results: Findings revealed that have positive significant effect commitment. Work is also found fully mediated Implication: implies are factors be considered getting employees committed goals objectives. It recommends regulatory authority should ensure congenial environment would make them happy organization.
